Glossary

Common terms used throughout the Payroll Employer Hub.

Admin — A user with elevated privileges in the Hub. Admins can manage employees, settings, and other admins.

Employee — An individual enrolled by an employer; eligible to use Earnin based on their payroll integration.

Payroll Provider — The third-party system that processes payroll for the employer (e.g., ADP, Workday, Gusto).

Pay Cycle — The recurring period over which an employer runs payroll.
