January 2026 Federal W-4 Patch

important

  • You must be using ReadyPay Online version 1.40.2.0 (or higher) to install this patch.

  • This patch is optional and only intended to fix the issue listed in the release notes.

  • The updated Form W-4 will be included with the February 19th RPO update.

Installation Instructions​

  1. Download the 2026Jan_Federal_W-4_Patch.zip file from the Releases/ReadyPayOnline folder on the EarnIn Payroll FTP site.

  2. Unzip/Extract the contents of this file to a temporary folder on your web server (wherever RPO is installed).

  3. Copy the Federal_W-4_2026.pdf file to your web server's employee forms folder. The default folder location is C:\WebApplications\Employee\Forms .

  4. Run the 2026-01-30-W4_patch.sql file against your RPO database in SSMS on your RPO SQL Server.

  5. Recycle all Application Pools in IIS (this is necessary if you use any Session State application).
