Installation Instructions

1. Download the ReadyPayOnline_1.38.1.2.zip from the Releases/ReadyPayOnline folder on the Taslar FTP.

2. Unzip/Extract the contents of this file to a temporary folder on your web server (wherever RPO is installed).

3. Back up the contents of your existing web applications folders.

4. Stop the following services on the appropriate servers: IIS, Integration Service, and Notification Service.

5. Run the ReadyPayOnline_1.38.1.2.msi on your web server. During the installation, click on each feature to ensure that the "Location:" (installation path) is still correct.

6. Run the ReadyPayOnline_1.38.1.2_Release.sql file against your RPO database in SSMS on your RPO SQL Server.

7. Perform any file replacements you may have as part of your maintenance routine (logo files, CSS etc.).

8. Restart all the services that you stopped in Step 4.

9. Recycle all Application Pools in IIS (this is necessary if you use any Session State application).

10. We strongly suggest you test login to your RPO site and Employee Kiosk site after your upgrade is complete to ensure that the pages load appropriately.

TAPS-336	Applicant Tracking’s “Forward Application” feature now includes improved error messaging.
TAPS-226	Appraisals page (in HR > Performance/Reviews) now correctly displays the “Notified On” date when the supervisor was notified about the employee completing their self-evaluation.
TAPS-253	Audit logs will now record all Applicant tracking and Employee Navigator updates through the API as being changed by ‘PayrollAPI’.
TAPS-192	Check History page has been improved. Totals now align properly with the column headers. The Rate column has been added.
TAPS-305	Data validation errors are now cleared once the end user has fixed the bad/missing data. This allows the end user to stay on the page and save the record they were working on. Previously, the data validation error would require the end user to navigate away from the page they were working on and then return to it.
TAPS-424	Document Portal Access subtab has been restored to the Company Users page.
TAPS-223	Employee Navigator integration will now correctly set an employee’s Work Email and Personal Email.
TAPS-515	Employee Navigator integration will now send the termination date field with a NULL for all active employees. This change was made to accommodate recent date range requirements implemented by Employee Navigator.
TAPS-367	Equifax service will now display an end client’s Equifax employer code and Live Date when you click on the “Edit Properties” button on the Services page. These fields are read-only.
TAPS-191	Kiosk’s direct deposit flat amounts are no longer limited to $999.99.
TAPS-364	Kiosk’s SITW tax change approvals now correctly change any additional tax data associated with the employee’s old and new state withholding.
TAPS-78	Minor UI changes were made. The old “Taslar” logo was removed from the install kit. The border around the “Notifications” section on the home page now aligns properly with the section to its left.
TAPS-229	Onboarding now correctly adds any Local Tax 1 in the Setup Group to new hires.
TAPS-243	Onboarding’s eSignature workstep has been fixed to make the signature style selection save correctly on the first try.
TAPS-366	Performance Management’s “Show All Reviews” and “Show Current Review(s)” links are now checkboxes. Using either option no longer causes the page to refresh. Previously, the page would refresh and automatically select the employee’s first appraisal in the list. This would prevent the end user from selecting other appraisals.
TAPS-386	Performance Management’s Appraisal notifications will now include a link to the Appraisals pages on Kiosk for all employee and supervisor notifications. Notification content for HR approvers has not changed.
TAPS-388	Performance Management’s Review Types have a new “Hide Scorecard” setting. When this checkbox is checked, the scorecard section will be excluded when an appraisal that uses the specified Review Type is printed. N.B.: The new setting is not designed to be an on-demand option to hide or show the scorecard anytime an end user wants to print a completed appraisal.
TAPS-216	Preprocess register options now include a “Roll on Earnings” checkbox when using the report in Payroll Totals.
TAPS-212	System Imports' Employee Import now adds tax records with a start date of the company’s current check date. Previously, the employee’s hire date would be used as the start date.
TAPS-210	System Imports' Employee Import now allows an employee’s term date to be before their rehire date.
TAPS-209	System Imports' Employee Import will now create an employee’s rate record when the import file contains baseRate, salary, defaultHours, payFrequency, autoPay, and tipped. The employee’s ERate record will have: Start date is set to HireDate Rate code is set to “Base” AutoPay will populate RatePer as “Hours”, or empty, and then set the employee’s Rate or Salary accordingly. N.B.: The rate record will not be created if both Salary and Rate are empty.
TAPS-237	Taxes page (in Employee > Payroll Data) now displays an Exemption 2 column.
TAPS-217	User Administration page (under Company > ESS Setup) now displays a red “X” when the username entered is already taken; otherwise, a blue checkmark will be displayed.
