Your Service Bureau and ReadyPay Online environments must be upgraded during the same maintenance window

If your service bureau has any downstream ReadyPay sync sites, EarnIn Payroll recommends upgrading them before their next SyncUp to your service bureau's environment.

Your ability to SyncUp to EarnIn Payroll has been disabled. Please notify Support at least 24 hours before installing this release so we can re-enable your ability to SyncUp.

This update includes a SQL file that is customized for each service bureau. See step 2 of the Preinstall Instructions.

High impact tickets: Objects to support future Cash Out repayments through payroll have been added. The repayment functions are not yet active. They will be launched in a future release. See ticket TAPS-633 for details.
Preinstall Instructions

Download the ReadyPay_3.73.0.25.zip file from the Releases/ReadyPayDesktop folder on the Taslar FTP server .

Download the MillProcPayroll.dll file from the Releases/ReadyPayDesktop folder on the Taslar FTP server

Download the XXXXXX_3.73.0.25.sql file (where XXXXXX represents the name of your service bureau) from your service bureau's folder on the FTP server.

Unzip the ReadyPay_3.73.0.25.zip file (containing the ReadyPay and RP Services installer). Place the contents in a central location where they can be executed from all servers at the service bureau, and on the RPO side.

Deactivate your RPO sync schedule.

Stop the following services on all servers at your service bureau: Ready Pay Process Server ReadyPay .Net Process Server ReadyPay Document Transfer Millennium Synchronization Server

Backup existing config files for the "ReadyPay .Net Process Server", and "ReadyPay Document Transfer Service".

Make note of the current login credentials used on the services mentioned in step 2. After the installation is complete, you should verify the logins are still intact.

Install ReadyPayServices_3.73.0.25.msi on all servers running .NET Process Server and ReadyPay Document Transfer Service .

Install ReadyPay_3.73.0.25.exe on all ReadyPay classic process servers, Synchronization server, and all end user workstations in your service bureau environment.

Run ReadyPay as Administrator against your database(s) to launch the database upgrade process (only needs to be completed once per database and can be run on any machine).

Start the "Ready Pay Process Server" service on one classic process server.

SyncUp to get tax and database updates.

Stop the "Ready Pay Process Server" service on the one classic process server you started in step 7.

Run the SQL file you downloaded in step 2 of the "Preinstall Instructions:" against your ReadyPay database.

Copy the MillProcPayroll.dll file to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Millennium 3 folder of every classic process server , thus overwriting the existing file.

Restart all services that were stopped in step 1 .

Stop the following services on all servers on the RPO side: Ready Pay Process Server ReadyPay .Net Process Server IIS

Backup existing config files for the "ReadyPay .Net Process Server".

Make note of the current login credentials used on the services mentioned in step 2. After the installation is complete, you should verify the logins are still intact.

Install ReadyPayServices_3.73.0.25.msi on all servers running .NET Process Server. DO NOT install the ReadyPay Document Transfer Service on RPO .

Install ReadyPay_3.73.0.25.exe on all your classic process servers and your web server.

Run ReadyPay as Administrator against your database(s) to launch the database upgrade process (only needs to be completed once per database and can be run on any machine).

Start the "Ready Pay Process Server" service on one classic process server.

SyncUp to your Service Bureau get tax and database updates.

Stop the "Ready Pay Process Server" service on the one classic process server you started in step 7.

Run the SQL file you downloaded in step 2 of the "Preinstall Instructions:" against your ReadyPay database.

Restart all services that were stopped in step 1 .

Reactivate your RPO sync schedule.
