important

  • Your Service Bureau and ReadyPay Online environments must be upgraded during the same maintenance window.

  • If your service bureau has any downstream ReadyPay sync sites, EarnIn Payroll recommends that they be upgraded after your service bureau's environment.

  • Your ability to SyncUp to EarnIn Payroll has been disabled. Please notify Support at least 24 hours before installing this release so we can reenable your ability to SyncUp.

  • High impact tickets:

    • This release contains several updates to improve the security of the ReadyPay environment. As a result, the installation has more steps than usual. Carefully review the installation instructions before you update to the new version of ReadyPay.
    • QSF files are now encrypted. See ticket TAPS-51, 49, and 47 for details.

Preinstall Instructions​

  1. Download the ReadyPay_3.67.0.53.zip file from the Releases/ReadyPayDesktop folder on the Taslar FTP server .

  2. Unzip the ReadyPay_3.67.0.53.zip file (containing the ReadyPay, RP Services, and required core component installers). Place the contents in a central location where they can be accessed from all servers at the service bureau, as well as the RPO environment.

  3. See the RPD_3.67.0.53_Installation_Instructions.pdf document in the install kit for complete upgrade instructions.

TAPS-552Filing status field/dropdown on employee tax tab only had one option available in original release. This has now been resolved.
TAPS-428AL local tax code AL-OPE1 rate is 0.01, effective 1/1/2025.
TAPS-341CA local minimum wage rates have been updated, effective 7/1/2025.
  • MinWage for the city of Los Angeles is 17.87
  • MinWage for Los Angeles County is 17.81
TAPS-186Detroit, MI local tax update. A single monthly task will now produce a single Form 5323 for tax codes MI-DET1 and MI-DET2.
TAPS-334Document Transfer service config file needs updating. See the installation instructions for details.
TAPS-64Employee Navigator deduction reports (RP_720_1500 and RP_720_1502) will now include future-dated deductions.
TAPS-141Form W2 legal size when using Format Code 1 will now allow up to 50 characters in Box C (Employer’s name and address). Any additional characters will be truncated so the address stay inside the box provided.
TAPS-430KY SUI and related components have been updated rates, effective 1/1/2025.
  • KYAST rate is 0.00075
  • KYSUI rate is 0.02625

TAPS-397Louisville, KY annual reconciliation form has been updated for 2025.
TAPS-362MT SUI paper forms have been updated for 2025. The paper forms are not fileable and marked “Record Copy Only”.
TAPS-363NC SUI paper return has been updated for 2025. Please see the following important notes.
  • ReadyPay doesn’t populate the Out of State Taxable Wages or the Out of State Code fields.
  • Employee/Officer box defaults to “Employee” unless the employee’s “Officer” checkbox (Dept/Position tab) is checked.
  • Seasonal box defaults to “N” unless the employee’s “Seasonal” checkbox (Compliance tab) is checked.
  • Location Summary defaults to “Primary” unless einfo.user8 is set to “Other”
  • Hours Worked box counts hours linked to earning codes are not Memo earnings, and the “Worked” checkbox is checked.
TAPS-420OR minimum wage rates have been updated, effective 7/1/2025.
  • MinWage OR is 15.05
  • MinWage Portland Metro, OR is 16.30
  • MinWage Nonurban Counties, OR is 14.05
TAPS-342PA local tax update. The rates for South Canaan Township, Wayne County tax codes (PA-640205N AND PA-640205R) have been updated to 0.005, effective 4/1/2025.
TAPS-337ProcessServer.Net email settings for the following features have been moved to a new appsettings.json file. See the installation instructions for details.

TAPS-51, TAPS-49, TAPS-47QSF files are now encrypted. Creating a QSF file will automatically generate the encryption/decryption keys. N.B.: The solutions article for creating and using QSF files will be updated soon.
TAPS-131Simple GL Export report (RP_500_6202) has been fixed. Previously, an issue existed where the report would exclude information when configured with exactly 5 columns and run in summary mode.
TAPS-30Sychronization process has been updated to work with TLS 1.2. This change is disabled. It will be enabled in a future release of ReadyPay.
TAPS-57Synchronization now works correctly when a Windows 2022 process server runs a sync with full download.
